dc.description.abstract | The European Union still lacks the ability to equal the political association’s effect on the world economy, regardless of possessing one of the largest economies in the world. The EU is mainly concerned with addressing regional policy-related problems, but it also takes a worldwide perspective into account when writing security policy papers. The end situation calls for more active involvement in world events in remote regions, with East Asia being especially important given its ongoing development. This paper analyzes the role of Japan in the foreign policy strategies adopted by the European Union since 1994 until including the region of East Asia. | ru |
